Ich hatte Ian mal gefragt ob ihn unsere Mails erreichen, da ein paar Tage keine Antwort kam. Hier ist sie dann, werde sie morgen mal soweit übersetzen, oder Karsten du kannst es auch machen wenn du Zeit und senile Bettflucht hast.

Aber bitte nicht grob zusammenfassend sondern halbwegs wörtlich sinnerfassend. Sonst mache ich das morgen im Rahmen meiner Möglichkeiten und werde Ian auch antworten...

Apologies for not replying, I have received your emails at ikane8@aol.com but have been very busy. This weekend my daughter gets married and we have had lots of planning to do!

Regarding an exchange visit, if you are interested we have some tickets available for our game with Hull City on 25th October and these are in the Kop! Let me know if you are interested. We can probably sort out bed & breakfast for your members and you are welcome to travel on our coach to Anfield. If this is not convenient we can sort out a game on another date.

On our last game I mentioned to our members that we could have an exchange visit and go to a game in Germany and our fans were very happy about this!

Our team is struggling a little this season after a really good last season. We miss Luis Suarez badly and as Daniel Sturridge is injured this doesn't help! There is too much weight on the shoulders of young Raheem Sterling who is only 19 years old. Our captain Steve Gerrard has been amazing over many years but unfortunately time is catching up on him and his best years are now behind him. The new players like Balotelli, Markovic! Lapland, Louvren are not up to the normal high standard at our club and the result of all the above is that we look quite ordinary! Anyhow, we hope for some stability when players settle in and understand what is expected of them from Brendan Rogers. As typical football fans we still get behind them, as the song says " when you walk through a storm hold your head up high, you'll never walk alone".

How is your team performing at present? Hopefully better that we are!

We have tickets for Real Madrid at Anfield on 22nd October and 7 of our members may even be going to Madrid in Spain to the Bernabeu to see the away game!

Thanks for your anwser and really no need to apologize. It wasn´t meant like being pushy or anything like that, I only wasn´t sure if my emails reached you.

And your daughter got married this weekend? Congratulations, I hope her husband isn´t a supporter of ManUnited or Newcastle (joke) and she is "in good hands" as we say in Germany. And yes, I know that there´s a lot to plan, organize and to do.

Thank you very much for your invitation for your game with Hull City on 25th October, that´s really great. But on 26th October we have a game with Bayern München in Mönchengladbach, so it would be a little tricky(?) for us to realize that. I´ve noticed that your start this season was or is a little struggling after your terrific last season. But following your analyse there are reasons for it. I hope it will get better soon! Our team is performing really good at present. 12 games without a loss in Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and Bundesliga, best start since 39 years, and current 3rd place in the Bundesliga. We have a very good squad and are very flexible and able to rotate. But it´s early in the season and we will see if it will be going on like this.

Oh, and you have tickets for Real Madrid? At Anfield and in Bernabeau? That is really great! I´ve seen them once, Mönchengladbach-Real Madrid 5:1 in 1985. Please cover the result.

Dass ihr ein wenig holprig in die Saison gestartet seid habe ich mitbekommen. Aber wie du dargestellt hast gibt es dafür ja durchaus Gründe. Ich hoffe es wird bald besser!  Unser Team hat bisher einen guten Saisonstart hingelegt. 12 Spiele ohne Niederlage in der Europa-League, DFB-Pokal und der Bundesliga, bester Saisonstart seit 39 Jahren, und aktuell 3. in der Liga. Wir haben einen richtig guten Kader und können auch rotieren. Aber die Saison ist noch jung und wir werden sehen wie sie weiterläuft.

Und ihr habt Karten gegen Real? An der Anfield Road und im Bernabeau? Das ist genial! Ich habe Real einmal gesehen, 1985 Mönchengladbach-Real 5:1. Ich bitte um das gleiche Ergebnis.

Good to hear from you. We had a great time in Madrid although 1-0 was not so great we put up a good performance. In the airport at London we met Jamie Carragher who was a Liverpool legend of many years (see photo attached). We had a great evening and I attach a photo of me and some of our members in the box.

Things still not so good on the pitch after the loss of Suarez and the injury to Sturridge, however, Sturridge is back from injury for the next game so fingers crossed that we pick up our performance.

We have just finished a crazy week in which we had to buy on line on the Liverpool website all our tickets for the second half of the season from January to May. There are 8 games and we managed to buy 387 tickets so we did really well for our members.

Regarding the exchange visit let me know if you want to align it with a game and if so which game and what date as I would need to arrange tickets and sort a hotel etc.

I have already spoken to some of our members and they would love to come to Germany and watch a game and have a few beers and a meal with you. How easy/difficult will it be to get tickets?

This weekend was international games but we return away to Crystal Palace on Sunday then after that back to Anfield and Stoke City.

Ich habe unseren befreundeten Liverpool Supporters Club heute angeschrieben.

Es ging a) um ihren neuen Trainer und b) um einen Termin für ihren Besuch in Mönchengladbach als auch unseren Besuch eines Spiels in Liverpool (mit Kloppo ) . Alle befreundeten Schüsse sind dabei natürlich auch herzlich willkommen...
